Festive Season
The time has come to drag out all the Christmas decorations. It is a beautiful day today, and I am in the mood for decorating. I guess you could say, I am in the festive mood. Wash cloth in hand, I commence to wash windows and that being done, start putting up the window lights. All the outside lights have been put up, now to finish the inside lights and decorating. The tree goes up on Monday, December 1st. I am like a kid, I love Christmas with all the trimmings. The only thing that would make it perfect is to have my one and only child to spend the holidays with me, but alas, that is impossible because she lives on the other side of Canada, and the cost of such a trip would be phenominal that we could not afford, but she is in my heart as always, but more so on Christmas.

Nobody makes Christmas like you do Mom, and nobody appreciates that more than me. ... I still remember that time when YOU were the one on the head of the stairs waking me up with your giggling as you opened your stocking. :) ... And Every Christmas morning, here, on the other side of Canada, I think of that and smile. :)
