Stormy night
Wednesday, November 19, a storm blew in my little village. Heavy winds, snow and downright cold. And if that wasn't bad enough, our power went out around 6:20 pm and stayed out until almost 10:00 pm, leaving my husband, myself and my sister spending the time cranking up a wind-up flashlight for what little light we could get out of it. Hundreds of people were stranded on the highway, stuck in the snow for 12 hours trying to keep warm with whatever they had in their cars, of course, there were no houses around for miles, no passerbyes, and no police, so complaining about my little upset, makes me feel pretty follish considering what those people went through.

I'm just glad you weren't stuck on the highway all night long. And I much prefer the image of you all cranking one of those flashlights. (grin) ... Nicely written Post.
